God our Father, by your Spirit lead us forward in deeper understanding of your church, the Body of Christ. 

Enable us to use our various gifts and talents to become a more vibrant, forgiving, charitable, praying community. 

Guide us as we discuss the way forward on our Parish Day. 

May we witness to the unifying power of your love and be a beacon of hope. 

Mary, mother of the Church, pray for us. 

Saint Joseph pray for us.

Prayer for the Diocese

Father, pour out your Spirit upon our diocese
and grant us a new vision of your glory,
a new experience of your power,
a new faithfulness to your Word
and a new consecration to your service,
so that your love may grow among us
and your kingdom come
through Christ our Lord. Amen
